Robert Noonan

Robert Noonan is an industry veteran of over 28 years with an extensive depth of professional experience in fire and emergency management instruction and consulting. He possesses a great passion for passing on the inherent responsibilities that encompasses a career in fire and life safety.

Noonan earned a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science, a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies and a Master of Science in Safety, Security and Emergency Management (with a concentration in Fire Science and Emergency Management). He also serves as an adjunct professor in Fire Science at Nassau Community College, an adjunct professor in Project Management and Information Technology at Adelphi University and a Second Deputy Chief Instructor at Nassau County Fire Service Academy.

Robert Noonan’s qualifications and certifications include (but are not limited to): National Fire Instructor I & II Certification; EMRTC – Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings (Train-the-Trainer Course); FEMA Emergency Management Institute – U.S. Department of Homeland Security (IS-1, ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, 800); OSHA Outreach Training Program – Prevention of Health Hazards in Construction Industry (including Construction Industry / Environmental Safety and HAZWOPER – Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response); New York State Adult Education Certification (Job Skills Training Instructor); New York State Fire Officer I & II; New York State Certified Code Enforcement Official
