Jerry Dombrowsky is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of firefighting experience with the New York City Fire Department. During his tenure with the FDNY, Dombrowsky rose to the rank of Acting Battalion Chief. While serving as an FDNY Captain for 12 years, his responsibilities entailed managing personnel at numerous fires and emergencies as well as supervising and conducting in-service drills and training sessions covering a variety of special emergency conditions. Dombrowsky has been an instructor of fire and life safety certification courses since 2005 and continues to serve as a volunteer firefighter and New York State EMT. Jerry Dombrowsky is a Vietnam Veteran with the United States Army. He graduated John Jay College holding an Associate degree and multiple certifications.
